WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.

CHOULES—WILES.

The Baptist Tabernacle, Upper Queen Street, was the scene of a picturesque wedding yesterday afternoon, when Dorothy Gertrude, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. 0. Wiles, of Mount Eden, was married to Roy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Choules, of Mount Albert. The church was beautifully decorated in pink roses, camellias, and large stands on pedestals of white irises, and made a lovely setting for the bride, who wore a briar rose pink georgette. The frock was made on simple lines, the petalled hem showing a band of silver lace. A spray o? blossom was worn on the shoulder, and a coronet of flowers held in place a pink veil, which also formed a sweeping train. She carried a shower bouquet of pink stocks, sweet peas, and carnations. The bridesmaid. Miss Vera Choules, was gowned in primrose georgette; the skirt had a frilled hem, and a tulle shoulder wrap was of shaded golden tulle. A email hat of the same tones had a spray of flowers. A shaded pastel bouquet was carried. The Rev. Joseph Kemp performed the ceremony. Mr. A. E. Wilson officiated at the organ. Mr. Leslie Barrett was best man. After the ceremony the wedding reception was held at the Domain, Kiosk, which was profusely adorned with pink flowers. The bride's mother wore a black silk ensemble suit trimmed with fur, and a black hat relived with white mount. The bridegroom's mother was in hois de rose, with light vest and a pink hat. She carried a bouquet of purple pansies. Mrs. Harold Wiles wore-a brown tweed suit with a shaded georgette scarf, and a Bankok hat; Miss Phyllis Wiles, flowered niiion in beige and blue tones, and a Manila hat.
