DEVONPORT DEMONSTRATION.
AT FOOTBALL DOMAIN TO-MORROW
A programme of athletic competition ■> and games of all sorts, with *\ j object of raising funds for the assistance of the workless folk of fbi borough, will he held at the Devonpjrt football domain to-morrow afternoo:i. Boxing and sparring, national dances, novelty cycling and football events will be interspersed with championship track races. The big event of the programme is expected to be the push ball tourney, and an endeavour is being made to have, an unofficial political contest. The Labour party challenges all opponents at push balL and hopes to have a chance to show that they can push the Reform party out of office. Mr. Alex. Harris, M.P., already has engaged to push for the Foresters against the Druids, but will no doubt be available for the political event if it can be brought off, " »
