In to-day's issue the Government is inviting applications for the lease by ballot of subdivisions of the Mataikona sheep station, situated on the East Coast, about 50 miles from Masterton. The estate has been subdivided into six farms, ranging in area from 1100 to 5000 acres, and the pastures and fencing are reported to be. in splendid order. Further particulars are advertised.
