CHRISTIAN CONVENTION.

During the week-end meetings were held at Scots Hall in connection with the half-yearly Christian Convention, and were well attended. On Saturday afternoon Mr. Hutchison, of Essex, England, gave an address on "The Person and Work of Jesus Christ." Mr. Jamea Duffie, from Mongolia, who has spent 23 years in the mission field in China, related some interesting experiences. An account of mission work done with launches on the rivers of Paraguay was given by Mr. Allan Smith. Mr. George Wilson gave an account in the evening of missionary work in the Malay States.
