The principle on which Canada works is, apparently, that nothing is really superfluous, not even the vicious dog-fish. At long last this pirate of the Pacific nas found its niche in the scheme of economic usefulness, for its oil has excellent properties as the base of a preparation for keeping away mosquitoes and flies. Already the salve has found popularity, and several barrels a day of dogfish are being used in its manufacture.
