LAWN TENNIS.
OTAHUHU JUNIOR CLUB.
The Otahuhu Junior Tennis Club was officially opened on Saturday afternoon, the president, Mr. H. J. Hall, performing the ceremony. There was a good attendance of members and visitors, nud the enthusiasm displayed augurs well for a successful seasou. Mrs. Hall served the first ball.
The membership numbers about CO, with the club in a sound financial position The president presented the following prizes: Men's championship doubles, A. Nield and T. H. Lee; ladies' championship doubles, Misses E. Morgan and M. Pinkey ; Labour Day tournament. Miss E. Petrie and Mr. J. MeCrory.
