MAN'S FINGER CRUSHED.
Accident on wingatui.
While working on the Union Company's steamer Wingatui at the Prince's wharf this morning a foreman stevedore named J. Gibbons had the little finger of his right hand badly crushed in a grab, and was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance for treatment. He lives at 8, Dublin Street, Ponsonby.
