lamage To Houses In Sydney
And Brisbane.
HEAVY HAIL.
(Received 12 noon.)
SYDNEY, this day.
A cyclonic wind and violent rain and ba.il storms have been the experience in many districts of New South Wales. House roofs were badly holed by jagged pieces of ice. A Brisbane message states that a cyclonic hailstorm at Greenless unroofed houses and caused much other damage. Blocks of ice remained on the ground for some hours. An inch and a half of rain fell in some areas.
