WHANGAREI, Friday. A function of a double-barreled nature took place last evening, when the Whangarei Rugby Union tendered a complimentary dinner to the local team in honour of winning *the and a welcome home to "Bonny" Finlayson. ( In reply to the toast to his health, "Bunny* spoke of the wonderful hospitality accorded the All Blades wherever they went in South Africa. Rumours regarding dissension among the All Blacks were absolutely groundless. The attacks which had been made on the good name of Maurice Brownlie, who done so much for New Zealand football, were uncalled for and unsportsmanlike.
