FEILDING, Friday
There was a small yarding of sheep at to-day's stock sale. Prices for fats showed a decline. Shorn hoggets said up to 28/9; shorn ewes. 22/9 to 27/0; woolly ewes, SI/. Stores: Four-tooth forward wethers (good), 40/9; ewes with 100 per cent lambs, Up to 50/. Cattle.—There was a medium yarding. Dairy stock was firm at lata rates. Springing heifers brought £4 10/ to £5; heifers in milk, £4 5/; springing cows, £6 10/ to £13 5/; fats, heifers, £4 12/6 to £11 2/6; cows, £6 7/6 to £8 13/; four-year bullocks, £9 18/6 to £16; • stores, empty heifers, £3 2/6 to £6 a/; empty cows, £2 10/ to £5 18/6; cows in calt. £4 5/ *® £® W; yearling Polled Angus steers, y«arling Shorthorn bolls, £6 5/; Shorthorn and Hereford heifers, £6.
