PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES.

LIST or PRIZEWINNERS.

The Auckland Friendly Societies' Indoor Bowling Association concluded its activities for the season with a social and dance In St. Sepulchre's Hall. There was a good attendance of members and friends, and a most enjoyable programme was presented. The dance music was provided by W. Purcell's Orchestra and items by the following artists:—Miss Fleet, pupils of Miss McAnenay, Mr. Cooke, Bro.- MayaU, Bro. G. Dransfield. Immediately after supper the president, Bro. F. A. Harris, presented the trophies won at the Auckland Association's 1028 tourneys. On this occasion also the various affiliated associations combined with the central executive In making the presentation of their trophies won during the season. These made a good display, covering four tables, and were presented as follows

ORANGE LODGE WINNERS. - The Loyal Orange Lodges 'Association's trophies were tben presented by President Bro. P. A. Harris as follows:—

Champion Fours (Ladles). —Mrs. Kingdon, Mrs. McMabon, Mrs. Millar, and J. McPherson; runners-up, Mrs. Kayes, Mrs. Gear, Mrs. Francis and L. S. Francis.

Champion Fours (Men). —A. Ott, W. lon, W. H. Tongue, and Geo. Searle; runners-up, C. Moore, J. McConnell, W. Moore. .E. T. White.

Champion Pairs (Ladles). —- Mrs. M. Toung and Mrs. F. C. Rout; runners-up, Mrs. A. Gear and Mrs. L. Boles.

Champion Pairs (Men).—J. Speir and L. S. Francis; runners-up, W. Da ere and F. Simpson.

Two special presentations were made to Miss Day, the assistant-secretary, who did efficient work during the big tourneys, and to tbe young-old veteran, W. Moore ("Dad"), who brought the atmosphere of the outdoors with him, and by his unfailing cheerlness and sporting spirit, allied to a rare skill, made himself respected and popular with all he came in contact. The final event of the season will be the L.O.L. annual social on Thursday next.
