FORESTRY DELEGATION.
VISITING WAXKOTJA TO-DAY.
GUM PLANT INSPECTED.

The British. Empire forestry delegates arrived by motor, from Maungaturoto at 4 p.m. , yesterday. They were, met by the Mayor, Mr. P. A. Jones', and. later.: went on by car to Babylon to iitspect' the newly-erected gumextraction plant; Last night they? were accorded a civic reception, and afterwards they held a conference." The party left Dargaville early this morning to .{visit the Trounson Kauri Park, and the. Waipoua Forest. They were expected to return to Dargaville about 4 pint;,* and will later return to Maungaturoto, where they will take the "■ H train iot Auckland, Where they, will arrive shortly,' after midnight.
