DUNLOP SHARES.
QUESTION OP BRITISH CONTROL
(Australian and N.Z. Press Association.)
(Received 1 p.m.)
LONDON, October 18.
Sir Eric Geddes has revised his plans and will sail for Australia in January. He will remain there a fortnight and continue on to Malaya, Singapore, and do the round trip to England. He will be away three months.
It is reported, but not confirmed, that Sir Eric Geddes is considering exercising the right to increase the British shareholding of Australasian Dunlops to ensure ultimate control similar to that of Sir J. G. Beharrell, managing director cf the Dunlop Rubber Co., who announces that he has just obtained these in Canada.
