anniversary celebration.

HAMILTON, tlii« day.
In commemoration of the 106 th anniversary of the beginning of Methodist missionary work among the Maoris, a gathering of Maoris representing every tribe in New Zealand took plaee in Frankton yesterday, under the conductorship of the Rev. A. J. Seamer, general superintendent of Methodist Maori Missions.
A programme of poi J«m-ing and ancient games was fulfilled.
