WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.

FENNING—FREEMAN. All Saints' Church, Kakahi, was the scene of a pretty wedding when Ruby Kathleen, the younger daughter of Mr. and Airs. F. W, Freeman, of Kakahi, was married to Albert Jaimes, only son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Fenning, also of Kakahi. The Rev. W. T. F. Skey performed the ceremony. The bride was charmingly attired in a dainty frock of powder blue rayon elite. The bodice was long-waisted with a front panel of diamond pin-tucks and decorated at throat with a spray of orange blossom. The embroidered tulle veil was swathed round the head cap fashion, with a coronet of orange blossom and silver. She carried a shower bouquet of pale blue hyacinths and white daffodils. The bridesmaid, Miss Grace Fenning, the bridegroom's sister, wore a dress of pale green taffeta and gold lace, a ribbon headdress, and she carried a bouquet of golden daffodils. Mr. Lyndsay Brew was best man. At the conclusion of the ceremony a wedding breakfast was held at the residence of the bride's parents. The guests were received by Mrs. F. W. Freeman, who wore a royal blue silk marocain dress and hat to tone.

ALDRIDGE—BARLOW. The marriage of Mrs. Clara Barlow, of Manchester, England, with Mr. Robert Aldridge, eldest son of Mrs. Aldridge, of Bolton, Lancashire, took place at St. John's Church last evening. The Rev. Mr. Larsen performed the ceremony. Entering the church with Mr. T. Lawson, the bride wore a frock of silver gijpy georgette inset with grey lace. A deeper shade of crinoline hat had a band of silver and steel embroideries. She carried an ivory prayer book. The matron of honour, Mrs. F. Hollidge, was gowned in cedar brown silk marocain, trimmed with beige georgette, hat to match with powder blue ribbon. Mr. P. Hollidge was best man. A large reception was held at Nairn's rooms, which were arranged with hanging baskets of ferns and pot plants, the tables being flowered in various shades of yellow Iceland poppies and gold wedding bell. Mrs. Catterlall wore a bois de rose silk crepe de chine, pink hat to tone. Pickeiing's Orchestra supplied the latest music. MACPHERSON—MOYLE. The wedding took place recently at St. James' Church of Miss May Moyle, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Moyle, of Rata Street Ponsonby, to Mr. Alexander T. Macpherson, eldest son of Mr. and the late Mrs. A. D. Macpherson, late of Ponsonby. The Rev. Evan R. Harries officiated. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, looked charming in a frock of white crepe de chine and tulle and orange blossoms. The tulle veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a beautiful shower bouquet of white and pink blossoms. Miss Nellie Jensen, cousin of the bride, attended as bridesmaid, dressed in powder blue crepe de chine, with beautiful silver lace flounccs, worn with a picture hat to tone. She carried a shower bouquet, and her little niece, Miss Inga Johanson, acted as flower girl, dressed in dainty hand-worked crepe de chine. She wore a tulle mob cap, daintily trimmed with rose buds and long streamers to match her beautiful posy which was of pastel shade. Mr. W. Moyle acted as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the' residence of the bride's parents, where the bride's mother received the guests wearing a smart frock of black crepe de chine, with white crepe de chine vest, and hat to tone.
