POKED HIS TONGUE OUT.
AT A POLICEMAN. DISORDERLY MAN ARRESTED. Had Alexander William Keith (36) conducted himself aa every tram passenger should, even when inebriated, he might not have been charged before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., this morning at the Police Court with being disorderly while drunk in Ponsonby Road on Saturday evening. Constable Gawler said that Keith was standing on the platform of a tramcar in Ponsonby Road, waving his arms about and shouting out about the police. Accused poked his tongue out at witness and wa« later arrested. This impolite demonstration cost Keith a fine of fl and coets.
