ELDERLY MAORI KILLED.
STRUCK BY GOODS TRAIN. WARNING DISREGARDED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTOX, Sunday. Walter George, aged 60, a Maori resident of Taupiri, was killed by a train at Button's Crossing, Taupiri, early last evening. Mr. George was walking along the line when a young girl who was with him drew his attention to an Approaching train. However, he took no notice and was killed instantly.
