BIBLE TRAINING INSTITUTE.
At the monthly meeting of the directors of the Bible Training Institute. Mr. R. L. Stewart presided. The following candidates were accepted for admission to the Institute next year:—Messrs. L H. Nelson (Auckland), M. P. Sampson (Invercargill), and Messrs. J. J. Burns (Napier), L. A. Twyman (Victoria, Australia). It was reported that a party of five ex-students comprising Misses A. Smith (Auckland), X. M. Conwav (Auckland), R. Dobson (Christchurch), M X. Grey (Dunedin), and Mr. C. J. Patchett (Auckland), would leave for China about September 14. as members of the China Inland Mission. Other ex-students who had been accepted by the local councils of various missions were:—Mr. Leslie W. Bowen (Hunterville), for India, Miss Myrtle Paulsen (Auckland), .for Mexico, Misses E. A. Downey i Auckland), and C. M. McLennan (Auckland), and Messrs. A. G. Roke (Papatoetoe), and C. H. Barton (Hastings), for the Sudan Interior Mission, Miss L. Robson (Hastings), and Mr. D. Neilson (Auckland) for the Egypt General Mission. The Institute vacation was fixed for September 5 and 19 inclusive.
