BASKETBALL TOURNEY.

DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIPS. TO-DAY'S MATCHES. Three more games in the New Zealand Basketball Association's third annual tournament were played at the Normal School grounds this morning. Wellington, Canterbury and Auckland all scored wins. The most evenly contested game of the morning was that between Canterbury and Southland, there being only three points difference in the scoresFor Canterbury, Miss I. Pool (4), Mis« M. U. Pritchard (5).. Miss N. Betts (3) scored, while for Southland, Mias M. Wright netted 8 points and Miss Murdoch one. Auckland had a very comfortable win over Hawke's Bay, there being a margin of 21 points at the finish. Auckland's points were scored by Miss J. Mcintosh (»), Miss B. Meuller (13), and Miss M. Adams (0), and Hawke's Bay's by Miss I. Wall (4), Miss E. Moore (<H, and Miss M. Melrose (2). Wellington had a runawav win 1 against Taranaki, the newcomers to the championships being outclassed. Miss xL Roberts scored eighteen points, Mias 1. Campbell twelve, and Miss C. Armwrong ten. Taranaki's lone goal was shot by Miss G. Lile. Results:— Wellington 40. beat Taranaki 1.
