GARRISON HALL IMPROVES. DISPLAY OF LIGHTING. (Isy Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PAPAROA, this day. 'I he Garrison Hall was brilliantly illuminated last night on the occasion of a demonstration of the electric lighting system installed by Mr. Thomas, picture proprietor, under contract to the Otamatea County Council, which has secured the building under lease from the Defence Department. The plant effectually illuminates the auditorium, dressing rooms, piano and stage, and there is provision for footlights and for parking lights for the grounds and road.
