EX-PUBLIC SERVANTS' WISHES
DOMINION EXECUTIVE ELECTED.

WELLINGTON, this day,
The Wellington branch of the Federated Superannuated Public Servants of New Zealand held its annual meeting yesterday. Officers, who also constitute the Dominion executive, were elected as follows: —President, Mr. G. Girling-Butcher; vice-president, Mr. T. W. McDonald; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. E. Gilbert; executive, Messrs. F. K. Kelling, H. Lundius, W. Making, D. Skinner, J. A. Thomson. The Dominion executive afterwards adopted the annual report. The following remits were carried:—That a letter be sent by the federation, in the name of all the branches, to Sir Joseph Ward, thanking him and all others who assisted for their good offices in the cause of superannuation in the days when various superannuation schemes were started (Christchurch.) That the executive be requested to institute inquiries as to the possibility of payments of superannuation allowances being made fortnightly, as is now done with Government officers (Wellington.)
That the method of paying superannuation be brought into line with tho method in vogue in the Railway Department (Auckland.)
