CHIEF'S SON DEAD.
(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, Wednesday. Herewini Te Ruahuiliui, the eldest son of the late chief Te Ruahuihui Tu Kiterangi, died at Ngapuna. There was a largo gathering at the tangi. The body was removed to Rotoiti, where about 800 Maoris attended the final ceremonies. Deceased was about seventy years of *15®- He leaves a wife and five .children.
