AUCKLAND ROTARY CLUB.
TO-DAY'S MEETING. Tnere was the usual full attendance at to-day's meeting of the Auckland Rotary Club, held in Lewis Eady's Concert Hall. In the aibsence of the president, Rotarian George W. Hutchison. who was addressing the Rotoraa Club, the vice-president, Rotarian Stan. Reid, occupied the chair.
Among visitors present were: Messrs. Walter Hill (Wellington). C. Hilner
(Nelson), H. J. Atkins (Wellington) and J. M. Gurr (Whangarei).
The chairman reported that excellent results had been obtained at the Rotary Club's stall on the children's collection day, the amount received totalling £S9.
The speaker of the day was Rev. Grant Cowen, who spoke on features of social work.
