WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.
&EEN—McMULLEN. The Grafton Road Methodist Church was the setting for a pretty wedding 011 Saturday. The bride was Ethel Doris McMullen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. McMullen, of Walters Road, Mount Albert, and the bridegroom William G. Kuan, son of Mr. J. Kean, of Fowlds Avenue, Mount Albert. The Rev. Dr. Ranston performed the ceremony. The bride's pretty frock was of ivory satin bcaute. 011 one shoulder was a spray of pink and silver flowers with trails of buds falling below the waistline. The veil, which was held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms, was of white embroidered Brussels net, and formed a billowy train. A sheath of white roses and freesias finished the pretty toilet. Miss Lawson attended the bride, in a frock of powder blue crepe de chine with touches of shell pink. Her blue picture hat was trimmed with a pink rose of the same shade, and the shower bouquet was of the same colourings. Mr. Torn Kean was the best man. The wedding tea was held in the Domain Kiosk, which was prettily decorated in pink and white. The bride's mother received the guests wearing a gown of heavy navy blue crepe de chine, trimmed with old rose and a hat of the same shade.
