CHURCH ANNIVERSARY.
The celebrations in connection with the 21st. anniversary of the Church of Christ, Trafalgar Street, Onehunga, were a pronounced success. Saturday afternoon was "Old Friends Day." There was a fs:i t hering of about 70 old friends, nlinm the church entertained. They were tiiken for a motor drive, and afterwards siit down at a very prettily decorated tea table. Mrs. Horace Yoekiiey verv ably filled the position of hostess. Three special services were held on Sunday, Mr. Glaister speaking in the morning and Messrs F. W. Greenwood and W. E. Vickery respectively speaking in the afternoon and at night. The building was crowded on each occasion. Choruses by the school were \ it\* ;k i t |it ably rendered under the leadership of Miss C. Creamer. A preservation was made to Mr. G. lajlor, fin old veteran of SS. Very acceptable solos were rendered by Mrs. Me.Roberts, Mis* JuiLu Dick and Mr. 14*w.
