FORT STREET ACCIDENT.
PARNELL LADY INJURED. Crossing Fort Street, near the Commerce Street intersection, at 11 o'clock to-day, Mrs. Ewcn Alison, wife of Mr. Ewen W. Alison, jun., of 62, St. Stephen's Avenue, Parnell, was knocked down by a Post and Telegraph motor van. She was picked up bleeding from a. nasty wound on the head. The St. John ambulance conveyed her to the hospital, where it was found that she had also received an injury to her back. At the time of going to press Mrs. Alison was reported to be progressing as satisfactorily as could be expected.
