TO-MORROW'S ATTRACTION.
ENGLAND V. AUCKLAND PROVINCE
STRONG SIDES SELECTED
The touring English Rugby Leaguefootball team will play their third match at Carlaw Park to-morrow afternoon, when they will meet the Auckland Provincial team. Two strong sides have been selected. Rees, Fairclough and Bowen, who took part in the Test match last Saturday, will, be in the visitors' team, but the others will be making their first appearance at the park. Several of _ them> played in the first game at Taupiri, however, and gave good accounts of themselves, Young and Frodsham in particular showing fine form. .On the Auckland • provincial side there is a strong leaven of country talent, while a number of promising young city players will be given the opportunity to mak§ good in big football. The Englishmen returned from a visit to Rotorua last evening, and this morning practiced at Carlaw Park. The teams are:— England. FuJl-back: Cowers. Three-quarters: Frodsham, Rosser,. Fairclough, Gwynne. Halves: B. Evans and Rees. Forwards: Williams, Thompson,. Bowman, Bowen, Halfpenny, Young. Auckland Province. Full-back: S. Rayner (South Auckland). Three-quarters: L. Scott (Devonport), List (Kiugsland), Beattie (Devonport). Five-eighths: Hanlon (Richmond), Seagar (Devonport). Half: Peckham (Ponsonby). .Forwards: Menzies (South Auckland), Stephenson (South Auckland), Moisley {Maristf, Hall (Newton), Clarke (Newton), Jones (South Auckland). ■ Reserves. —Backs: Wilson (Mangere), Davis (Richmond), Amos (City). Forwards: Payne (Ponsonby), Trautvetter (South Auckland), St. George (Devonport). The Auckland Province team will train at Carlaw Park at 7.30 this evening.
