C.T.'S DRIVE.
ALLOCATION OF FUND. FOOD FOR INDIGENT PEOPLE. COUPON SYSTEM ADOPTI"IJ. The Auckland commercial travellers have decided to distribute the funds of approximately £1800, collected on the occasion of the recent drive, among a number of deserving Auckland organisations. It was resolved at a meeting of the general committee held this morning to make pro rata allocations, of which the organisations concerned will be advised, and by a coupon system Hour, coal, meat, sugar, rolled oat» and potatoes will bo available for deserving people. As a result of the decision made a large number of people in Auckland who are in indigent circumstances, will be tided over the winter. The meeting waruilv congratulated the organisers, Messrs. W. 11. Prentis, A. Thomson and R. Glover Clark, on the success of the drive and the excellent arrangements made.
