A CORRECTION.
The manager of the Auckland Savins Bank write?: "In a paragraph in the • xar it ib stated tliat one Remuera scholar had nearly £300 in the bankOn reading this. I took it to b P a printer's error, the word 'scholar' having wen substituted for the word 'school ' However, I notice a letter from a correspondent in your issue of yesterdav, in which the information has" been accepted as correct. The information in tho first instance was quite contrary to fact, and the source of information apparently erroneous. The faH- that the average balance of the schools' bank depositor is £1 5/0 should dispel anv illusions on this matter."
