BANKRUPT DRAINER.
NO APPEARANCE AT MEETING. There was no appearance of Seth I'lltcixin, a bankrupt, at a meeting of his creditors at the office of the Official Assignee (Mr. G. N. Morris) this morning. Bankrupt's schedule showed debts amounting to £122 and assets £29 10/. a deficiency of £92 10/. In his signed statement forwarded to the Assignee, bankrupt states that while working as a drainer he went into partnership with another and they carried out several small contracts. In October, 1927. the partnership was dissolved, and bankrupt, then solvent, continued on his own. One man for whom he carried out a contract could not pay, and a loss of £59 resulted. Because of this bankrupt got into debt and could not pay two creditors. One firm instituted proceedings and bankrupt's position compelled him to tile. Aa bankrupt did not put in an appearthis morning it was decided to the -misting till to-tnonrow.
