Apparatus To Decide Aptitude Of Aviators. MACHINE FOR AUSTRALIA. (Australian Press Assn. —United Service.) (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON", July 24. A remarkable device called the Reid aptitude apparatus, costing almost £1000, has been shipped to Melbourne on order of the R.A.A.F. It is reputed to be well-nigh infallible in testing the suitability of candidates for military and civil flying, and also, the maintenance of fitness after being in service. It is a simple mechanism like a cockpit with gear?.
