HARD MATCH.
ALL BLACKS TO-DAY.
Pretoria Team Almost A Test Match Side. THE CASUALTY LIST. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 9 a.m.) PRETORIA, July 24. The New Zealand team for the match to-morrow against Pretoria Districts will be:— Full-back: Lindsay. Three-quarters: Lucas, Carleton, Grenside. Five-eighths: Xicholls, Johnson. Half-back: Dallev. Front row: Hore, Swain. Middle row: M. Brownlie, Alley, C. Brownlie. Back row: Ward, McWilliams. One of the forward's names (Scrimshaw or Stewart) has apparently been omitted. The Pretoria Districts team is: — Full-back: Gush. Three-quarters: De Wit, Mclntyre, Dobie, Liebenberg. Half-backs: Kotze, Chapman. Front row: Kruger, Van Druten, Nvkamp. Middle row: Mortimer, Geere. Back row: Glatthaar, Strachan, Geyser. The match is regarded as a minor test, and one of the hardest of the tour. The pack is considered as good as the Transvaal pack. Great things are expected of the Pretoria backs. Harvey comes out of hospital on Saturday. It is proposed to send him to Capetown, where the climate should suit him. He will not play any more this tour. Hadley's shoulder was X-rayed and found to be badly damaged. He, also, is not likely to play again on the tour. The Aucklander is particularly unlucky, for he has been one of the best all-round forwards on the side. Burrows is almost fit apain, and should be able to take the field in about a week. McGregor's knee is improving, but it will be some time before he plays. Kilby's ankle comes out of plaster on Thursday. After that he should be able to limp around without crutches. Rushbrook is now suffering from influenza.
