At the weeklv meeting of the Suburban • Football Association, comprising a full com " mittee and club delegates, it. was (Jecided to • arrange two representative games for Saturday, the 28th inst., between the Tung Jung Chinese team and the New Zealand Ferest team, from l'utaruru, against two teams picked from the A.C. and S.t.A. It wag resolved that no games be played " on Saturdav, August 4, owing to the Eng- ' lish and New Zealand Test match at Carlaw The Insurance scheme submitted by the Finance Committee was adopted, and put into working order, so that all players are I covered against accident. A large number of new players applied for ■ enrolment, and were handed over to the • New Clubs Formation Committee. During the meeting a presentation was > made by the Thistle Football Club to Mr. W W Dickson, who has played for the club • consistently during the last four years, and ; is now going to Wanganul. Mr. J. F W ' Dickson patron, who made the presentation 1 on behalf of the club, spoke in glowing terms ! of the recipient, and hoped he would accept ' the gift of a suit case as a mark of apprecia- ; tl«n from the committee and his club mates 1 of the Thistle Football Club.
