EMPIRE CONFERENCE.
GRANTS TO N.Z. DELEGATES. TO SAIL BY AORAXti[. Mr. \V. J. Jordan. M.P. (Manukau), received a telegram yesterday from the Right Hon. J. G. Coates, Prime Minister, that the Government had decided to make a grant of £200 to each of the four delegates who will represent New Zealand at the Empire Conference in Canada. They will leave by the Aorangi next Tuesday, and Mrs. Jordan and two children will leave for England from Wellington on August 4. Mr. Jordan will be entertained by the electors of Manukau in the Foresters' Theatre. Onehunga, on Monday night.
