BRIGHT PROSPECTS FOR FARMING
iFrom Our Own Correspondent.) TE KUITI, this day. This win'er so far has been unique in the history of the district for the mild conditions. Five continuous frosts last week preceding beautifully fine days being the first cold weather experienced this season. The pastures right throughout the hinterland up to the present have presented a springtime verdure. Farmers have only recently commenced to feed out hav to the stock. The coming season holds out great prospects to the dairy farmer and woolgrower. there being much warmth in the soil which promotes a continuous growth in all jpa^tures.
