CRIMINAL SESSION.
OPENING NEXT WEEK. FOURTEEN MEN FOR TRIAL. The quarterly criminal .session of the Supreme Court, which will open in Auckland next Tuesday, will be presided over liv Mr. Justice Reed, and associated with him will be Mr. Justice Blair. There are at present fourteen men awaiting trial on 37 charges. There are eisrht charges involving sexual offences and one of bigamy. The remainder include charges of forgery and false pretences, breaking and entering, theft, attempted theft, and demanding money with menaces.
