Barrister Aeronaut Killed On - Scottish Hills. BODY FOUND. (British Official Wireless, i (Received 1 p.m.) RUGBY, July 23. Mr. Warwick, a London barrister, who had been missing since the first day of the air race round Britain for the King's Cup, was found dead to-day. The body, half hidden by heather, was found by a shepherd boy on the Broad Law Hill between Peebles and Selkirk. Mr. Warwick's aeroplane, smashed and piled up on the hillside, was some distance from the body. Broad Lawlies directly in a straight line between I Newcastle and Renfrew, which was the route of the last lap of Friday's stage of the air race. The airman was deadright in his reckoning when disaster overtook hiin. Ho was passing over mountainous country that offered little chance of a safe landing. Collyer arrived at the Battery, New York, last evening after having made the circuit of the globe in 23 days 14h o2m 275, beating the record by five days. They used a Fairchild seaplane with folding wings for their flights over the land. The long ocean journeys were made by steamer. Their mascot was a dog calbd Tailwind. AIR DASH TO AFRICA. Lines has completed his plans for a day and night air dash from London to Capetown in an Avro Avian light 'plane of 30 horse-power, similar to Bert Hinkler's. which has been equipped for night flying. He hopes to teach the Cape in a week by 1000-mile stages.
