EXTRAVAGANCE ADMITTED.
BANKRUPT BANK MANAGER. COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. James Douglas Adams, a retired bank manager, late of Levin, admitted to-day that his bankruptcy was caused by gambling, drunkenness, or unjustifiable extravagance.
The charge was made on an information lodged by the official assignee. Adams, who did not desire to be treated summarily, was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
