PRICE OF PETROL.
ONE PENNY PER GALLON CHEAPER
It is announced that the price of petrol will be reduced one penny per gallon next Tuesday. This is stated to be the outcome of some suburban owners of bowsers having cut prices to secure business. The firms nearer the city have, therefore, been compelled to follow suit. The present rate is 2/1 per gallon for first grade, and 1/11 for second grade benzine. Next Tuesday this will be one penny per gallon less.
