THE LAW BALL.

1 lie law studeutr;' ball, which is alwave looked forward to bv the dancing jnonde each year, was held again at Scots Hall last evening. This v/as me eleventh annual ball, and by the , enthusiasm rhovvn it. proved that the function was a similar success as it ' had been in other years. The decoration-; were carried out 111 coloured lights and scarlet balloons. Uamboo plants, from which tiny fairy lights. twinkled forth, lined the entrance to the ballroom. While the pro-' grammes were being filled, the orchestra played ''Poet and Peasant," and afterwards dancing was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
