Matt 'Ilatton. the Auckland feathei - v eight w*ho registered a good win over Mark Carroll last week, has been matched by t lie Napier Association to meet Archie Hughes, the New South Wales champion, at Napier on July 30. A of ,CH>O will be in dispute. Hughes is not known locally, but the tact that he stayed fifteen rounds with Johnny Leekie at Dunedin last Saturday proves that he is likely to keep Hatton going all the way.
