MAX GRANTED PROBATION. (By Telvjtr h i'u—■ AwsociatlOD.) HASTINGS, Wednesday. 0a four charges of failure to account for £79 1/3 to Philip Schneideman, Wellington, Joseph Brennan Wareham was admitted to three years' probation when he appeared in the Police Court to-day.
The police said accused, an employee of the firm, failed to send bis banking return to Wellington. His employers came to Hastings and found that he had disappeared. He was arrested in Auckland.
