PRAYER BOOK CONTROVERSY.

WELLINGTON, ibis day.
The annual meeting of the Protestant Political Association is proceeding to-day. Mr. I. J. Bridget-, in his presidential address, mentioned that the national lecturer had been able to carry on a vigorous campaign throughout the Dominion dealing with the new Prayer Book controversy.
