MOTHERS' REST ROOM.
May I ask why the mothers' rest room in Karangahape Road is closed on Sunday, one of the days above all others when it should be open ? On that day all the business places are closed and consequently there is no ladies' room nearer than Queen Street. As a frequent visitor to the rest room, I feel sure that the powers that be, could they only hear the wish expressed by dozens of mothers, and also visitors to our city, that the convenience be opened on Sundays* would not hesitate to accede to this request.
