ZEALANDIC SAILING.

PORT CURTIS DUE.

Projected sailings from Auckland tliis afternoon included the motorship Zealandic, with passengers, mails and cargo for London. The only other departure ior overseas ports was the Kanna, which was to go to the powder anchorage to pick up explosives before sailing for Noumea and Walpole Island. Last evening the Baron Fairlie was dispatched for New Plymouth to complete discharge of basic slag from Antwerp.

The Port Curtis was due to arrive from New York this afternoon. A steamer, probably she, was reported from Tiri shortly after midday to be hull down on the horizon, so she will not get in until this evening. The Kartigl left Napier at 3 p.m. yesterday for Auckland and reports she, will arrive here at 7 a.m. to-morrow to complete discharge of her cargo of coal from Westport. She is expected to sail again on Friday evening for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Waikouaiti is to leave Lyttelton at 11 a.m. tot-morrow for Auckland district. The Kawatiri is to sail at 5 p.m. tomorrow for Newcastle. Thence she is to go to Adelaide, Edithburg and Melbourne to load for New Plymouth. Portland, Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin. The Wingatui left Tlmaru at 6 p.m. yesterday of Auckland via Picton and Wellington. The Waiplata left Dunedin at 5 p.m. yesterday for Auckland via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is to leave Timaru at 4.30 p.m. to-day. The Waimea sailed yesterday afternoon for Gisborne and Napier. The Kaponga, from Westport, via New Plymouth .expects to arrive at 4 a.m. tomorrow. Taking passengers, mails and cargo for London, the Shaw, Savill and Albion motor ship Jfealandic was to sail this afternoon. Advice has been received by R. Millar and Co. that the Norwegian motor ship Brynje is to load hardwood at Bunbury towards the end of June for Auckland. On her arrival here at noon on Friday the Dutch steamer Scheldepas is to be berthed at the Central wharf to put out the local portion of her cargo of basic slag from Antwerp. She is to complete discharge at Wellington. (N.Z. Shipping Co., agents.) The Union Co.'s steamer Kanna was to go down to the Powder Anchorage this afternoon to load explosives. Thence she is to sail for Walpole Island, via Noumea to load guano for Bluff. To the agency ,of Dalgety and • Co., the steamer Jron Monarch is expected to arrive at Auckland from Newcastle to-morrow afternoon, but no report has yet been received from her. Shis is to berth at the King's wharf to discharge her cargo of coal for the New Zealand railways.

For further loading for Montevideo, Avonmouth, Glasgow and Liverpool, the New Zealand Shipping Co.'a steamer Tasmania was dispatched early this morning for Napier. Thence she is to go to Lyttelton and Wellington to fill up, soling finally from the latter port on June 2.

BARON FAIRLIE SAILED. I To complete discharge of her cargo of basic slag from Antwerp, the steamer Baron Fairlie sailed last evening for New Plymouth. POOLTA CLEARED NEWCASTLE. Cabled advice from Newcastle states that the Union Company's steaemer Poolta left there yesteraay for Auckland, Wellington, Tlmaru, and Greymouth. She should arrive here on Tuesday next. THE PORT NAPIER. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Napier, which sailed from Auckland on April 18 for New York, Boston, Halifax, and London, is reported to have reached New YorK last Sunday. TAURANGA SERVICE. Commencing on Monday next. May 28, the Northern Co.'s steamer Matangi will leave Auckland for Tauranga at 6.30 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, and will leave Tauranga again at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays. NEW TUG LAUNCHED. The new steel tug which has been assembled at Mr. George Niccol's yard at Freeman's Bay was successfully launched this morning. The boiler is to be installed this week, and she will then be offered for sale. She is 73 feet long, with a beam of 16 feet, and a moulded depth of 8 feet. Her engines are expected to develop 300 horse-power. PORT DENISON TO LOAD. To commence loading New Zealand produce for London, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Denlson is due at Auckland from Australia on June 20. From here she is to go to Tokomaru Bay and Southern ports to complete her cargo. (Farmers' Auctioneering Co., agents.) WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. Nathan, Ltd., have received advice from Dunedin that the Shaw, Savil and Albion steamer Matakana is expected to leave there on Saturday next for Auckland to commence loading for Montevideo, London and West of England ports. From here she Is to go to Gisborne, Waikokopu, Napier and Wellington to fill up, sailing finally from the latter port on June 20. THE PORT AUCKLAND. Due at Opua from New Plymouth this morning, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Auckland Is to come thence to Auckland to continue loading for London. She is expected to arrive. on Friday morning, and has been allotted a berth at the Queen's wharf. From Auckland she Is to go to Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne and Wellington, sailing finally from the latter port on June 7. (Farmers' Auctioneering Co., agents.) THE PORT CURTIS. An expected arrival at Auckland this afternoon is the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Curtis, with case oil and general cargo from New York. She is to berth at the Prince's wharf. ' From Auckland she is to go to Napier. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff to complete discharge and commence Homeward loading. Thence she Is to return to Auckland. via Opua. to fill up, being due here on June 27. She is to sail finally from this port on June 30 for Avonmouth. Liverpool, Glasgow and London.
