JUNIOR MANAGEMENT.

N.Z. SECONDARY SCHOOLS' TOURNEY. The meeting of the Junior Management Committee last night fully discussed the Institution of a Provincial Secondary Schools' Dominion championship, on the lines of the Primary Schools' championship at present in vogue. It was felt that the time is now ripe, as the code has been introduced into most of the secondary schools in the Dominion, to constitute a connecting link between the primary schools and »he clubs. It was reported that the prominent seeondi"ry school headmasters in Auckland were quite favourable to such a competition on a national scale. The committee decided that the New Zealand Football Association be approached on the subjecf, and urged to give the matter serious consideration, with a view to definite action this season. Certain fixtures In the fourth and fifth grades for Saturday were postponed owing to militnry parades. It was reported that the primary school competition ha«f been commenced following the resumption of the schools after the holidays.
