AUCKLAND AFFAIRS. FOUR CHATHAM CUP ENTRIES. REP. GAME FOR KING'S BIRTHDAY. The invitation sent by the Auckland Football Association to the South Auckland Association to play a rep. match at Blandford Park on Monday, June 4, came up for discussion at the weekly meeting of the A.F.A. Management Committee last night, Mr. A. Menzies presiding. The Waikato Association wrote accepting the invitation on the terms suggested and it was accordingly decided to make the fixture the first rep. match of the season. Four entries for the Chatham Cup competition were received, from Thistle, Ponsonby (holders), Y.M.C.A. and Belmont. It was decided to extend the closing date for entries for the mid-week competition for a further week.

W. Wylie and J. Neil, of the Northcote Club, were regraded from senior to second grade.

It was decided to proceed with the midget games during the interval in the second senior game at Blandford Park.

Porteous, of Tramways, who was ordered off for rough play in the game against Belmont at Victoria Park on Saturday, was severely reprimanded on the recommendation of the judicial committee.
