OHRISTCHimCH NORTH SEAT. MAYOR TO STAND FOR LABOUR. 1 - - (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Mr. Fred Cook, one of the Labour nominees for the Christchurch North seat, has withdrawn, and it is now certain that the. Mayor, the Rev. J. K. Archer, will be the party's candidate. It will be a three-cornered contest, as Mr. T. E. Taylor, for the United party, and the sitting Reform member, Mr. Henry Holland, are also announced as Candida lep.
