CONDITION UNCHANGED. (By Telegraph -I'ress Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The condition of the Chief Justice, Sir Charles Skerrett, was last night unchanged. It is now disclosed that in the operation which lie underwent on May 8 his leg was amputated close to the hip, and not lielow the knee, as reported earlier, jt was made necessary owing to a clot oil the fumeral artery, which caused a stoppage of the whole circulatiou of the leg.
