DAIRY BOARD NOMINATION.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, Monday.
Addressed to the wrong Department, the nomination of Mr. B. T. Booker, of Whitford, who intended to oppose Mr. W. Grounds, chairman of the Dairy Produce Board, in ward one, arrived too late, and it is understood it cannot be accepted. The nominations closed at noon, and Mr. Booker's was not received by the returning officer until X pan.
